Cristian and Lauren's Open House

On April 20, 2013 we catered a small wedding open house for a young couple who had just been married, Cristian and Lauren. It was held in a family friend's back yard and they had it decorated really cute. They had a photo booth area and refreshments for guests to come and go. We focused on simple desserts: mini cupcakes, sheet cake, chocolate covered pretzels, mints and drinks.

Even though it was a small event, we put every effort into making sure things were done right and nice. It was a beautiful evening and everyone was happy!!

Karen's Wedding Oct. 2012

We catered a wedding on Saturday evening, October 13th for a nice girl named Karen. She actually heard about us because she saw Whitney's reception in Aunt Diane's backyard and asked who the caterer's were. She came over to do a tasting and booked us about 6 months prior to her wedding. 

On the menu was roast beef, chicken tenders, roasted red potatoes, sweet carrots, spring mix salad and a piece of baguette bread.  We started out with big bags of potatoes and carrots and lots of bell peppers . . .

We arrived in the afternoon and began to set up. The place was perfect for a wedding. We were given the corner of the driveway to set up our smoker. Jeff and Alyn started getting ready. People are always intrigued by the smoker.

The back yard was huge and it was a beautiful day outside. They had it decorated really nice.

We set up our serving table off to the side so we weren't in the way.

It was finally time to serve the food. Everyone LOVED it!

I love when it's dark and there are lights everywhere. You can kinda see on the back fence they had lights all the way around the yard. It was beautiful. I think they had a great time. Good food and a great party. ONE HAPPY BRIDE!

Of course the wedding cake was gorgeous too. So pretty with the lace and the sugar flowers. I couldn't help but take a picture!

Troy's Wedding

Troy and Sharisa had a small wedding and decided to decorate with blue's and oranges. On the menu was sweet and sour meatballs, teriyaki chicken wings, winter vegetable salad, baguette slices and a fruit bowl. Lemonade and water to drink.

 They also had a delicious candy bar for the kids!

 This wedding was small and intimate, just right for their family.

Whitney's Wedding / Family Dinner

Our Favorite event to cater is a wedding. We love when families are together and everyone is happy. This particular wedding / family dinner was our favorite . . . because it was our own daughter.

Everyone said we were crazy for trying to cater our own daughter's family dinner but we knew we wanted good food and happy people. It went great and everyone was glad we did it.
